Course A

Spanish Language

This is the most suitable course for the majority of students. This intensive course allows you to learn quickly and to participate in the school's programmed activities where you will continue to learn outside of the classroom. During the first two hours, you will be taught various grammatical topics and they will be supported by a variety of exercises. These will include the correction of sentences, examples, as well as structural work on texts. The following two hours will be devoted to conversation including oral and written expression, vocabulary, colloquial phrases, as well as reading and listening comprehension.

Course B

Spanish Language and Culture

This course allows you to study Spanish culture further than other topics. You will be able to experience the real Spain through its history, arts, gastronomy, and other cultural topics. Make the most of every morning with 5 hours of classes, leaving the afternoons for you to join in with all of the programmed activities.

3rd and 4th hours: Conversation (Course A)

5th hour: Culture. You will discover the real Spain through its history, art and economics

Course H

Business Spanish

An ideal course to expand your knowledge of the commercial
language. It is designed for companies, executives, students of economics and tourism.

1st hour: Commercial correspondence, types of letters, and C.V.s

2nd hour: Analysis and discussion of contemporary articles from specialized economic publications, the role of Spain in the EU, and topics on Macro and Microeconomics.

As this course is in the afternoon, you can also take a standard language course in the morning (Course A, B, C, D, or E ).

Course I

Preparation for the D.E.L.E.

What does DELE mean?

DELE are official titles of Spanish language which are accredited by Cervantes Institute, on behalf of Education, Culture and Sport Minister of Spain. All of them are adapted to the standards of Common European Framework (CEFR).

In Delibes we have two special courses for the preparation of the DELE.

Basic D.E.L.E.
Superior D.E.L.E.

Each year we start the preparation for these exams at the beginning of February and also at the beginning of September.

During the first two hours of this class, theoretical and practical aspects of grammar will be studied. In the 3rd and 4th hours, specific aspects of the exam will be reviewed including reading and listening comprehensions, personal interviews, written skills, essays, and exercises on technical vocabulary. Before the test, past exam papers will be reviewed in class.

The D.E.L.E. is the only official diploma recognized by the Spanish State. This exam can be taken in Spain or in Cervantes institutes and Spanish embassies around the world. It takes place at various times throughout the year.
